2. Materials
Steel straps are commonly made from structural steel materials including:

The steel strap can be produced via hot rolling or cold bending, depending on your requirements for strength, dimensional accuracy and desired finish.
3. Production Process
There are two production methods for W steel strap, hot rolling and cold bending.
Hot rolled W steel strap will result in high strength, rigidity and toughness, though if you require a painted surface, the hot rolled underside may need to be treated further.
Due to cold bending, the steel strap will have a flatter surface and offer a higher degree of dimensional accuracy. Profile shape will also be consistent along the entire length of the strap, allowing for easier installation.
