4. Installation Process
4.1 Preparation of anchor system
Choose appropriate T40 hollow anchor bar, coupler, nut, bearing plate, centralizer, drill bit adapter and grout based on project specifications.
4.2 Prepare working surface
Clear away debris and level ground as needed to provide stable work surface for drilling and grouting works.
4.3 Self-drilling installation
Fix on drill bit adapter. Self drill into ground with T40 hollow anchor and advance to required depth. As the anchor bar drills into place it also reinforces the ground.
4.4 Grouting
Inject grout through hollow center of anchor bar. Grout fills borehole and any cracks or fractures around anchor to improve bonding and load transfer characteristics.
4.5 Install plate and nut
Fix on bearing plate and nut after completion of drilling and grouting. Tighten all connections as required by project specifications.
4.6 Curing and final inspection
Allow grout to cure. Check anchor positioning, exposed embedment length and connection tightness.
