4. How They Work?
Our R32 series anchor bars are placed into the drilled hole and fitted with accessories such as the bearing plate and nut. A compatible coupler is then used to connect any additional lengths of anchor bar if required. Once installed, grout is pumped through the hollow centre of the anchor. Pressure injected grout fills the borehole and surrounding rock fractures where it will firmly bond to the anchor after curing.
Load is transferred from the anchoring section into stable ground while the grouted body creates more friction and better load distribution to enhance stability of the supported rock or soil mass.

We can provide optional corrosion protection to prolong service life. Options include:
